1. Information We Collect
WristWorth collects information you provide directly: account details (email, username, display name), watch collection data (brand, model, photos, valuations), and usage data (wear logs, preferences). We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the WristWorth service, including: maintaining your collection portfolio, generating analytics and insights, facilitating marketplace connections between collectors, and sending notifications you have opted into. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies. Watch photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest.
4. Your Collection Data
You retain full ownership of your collection data. You can export your complete collection at any time via the Insurance Report feature. You can delete individual watches or your entire account through the Settings page. When you delete your account, your profile, collection, photos, posts, listings, messages and preferences are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered; routine backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 30 days. Records of sales, rentals, orders and disputes in which you were a party — together with reviews you wrote, reports you filed and in-app purchase records — are kept for 7 years for financial record-keeping, with your identity replaced by a “Deleted user” marker.
5. AI Watch Identification
When you use Snap to identify a watch, the photo you capture is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to return a brand, model, and reference suggestion. Photos sent for identification are not used to train models. If you save the watch, the photo is stored in your collection; if you don't, it is not retained by us. You can use WristWorth without this feature by entering watch details yourself.
6. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver alerts you have asked for — price movements, offers, and messages. The token identifies a device, not you personally, and is deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account. We do not use it for advertising.
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are processed by Apple; those bought on the web are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We do store the identifiers those providers give us — an Apple original transaction ID or a Stripe customer ID — plus your plan and its renewal date, so we can grant the features you paid for. Cancelling is handled where you subscribed: your device's Settings for Apple, or your account settings for Stripe.
8. Marketplace Privacy
When you list a watch for sale, only your public profile information (username, display name) is visible to potential buyers. We never share your email, phone number, or physical address with other users. All offer communications happen within the WristWorth platform.
