Market Estimate
Retail (MSRP)

Abraham Lincoln carried this watch the night he was assassinated at Ford's Theatre in 1865. In 2009, the Smithsonian opened it to discover a secret message engraved inside by watchmaker Jonathan Dillon on April 13, 1861 — the day Fort Sumter was attacked: 'Thank God we have a government.' Lincoln never knew it was there.
